Amy Norquist, President and CEO of Greensulate, will present the basics on green roofs—what they are, how they are created, and what their environmental and economic benefits are. She will also provide an understanding of NYC tax abatements, government policies and incentives, and energy cost savings.

Greensulate is a leading company in green roofs, providing design, engineering, installation, and maintenance of Green Roof Systems for residential, commercial, and public institutions. They have installed green roofs aross the city, from Manhattan brownstones to Brooklyn factory buildings. Ms. Norquist has worked for more than 20 years in environmental research and education and has lectured extensively to owners on the benefits of green roofs.
