6:30 p.m. - Discussion/Q&A with GVSHP Executive Director Andrew Berman about what recent developments with the calendaring of Westbeth for NYC landmark designation and approval of Westbeth for the State and National Register of Historic Places means.

7:00 p.m. - Architectural historian and author of GVSHP's nomination of Westbeth to the State and National Register for Historic Places Andrew Dolkart will how the nomination was done, what it found, and how Westbeth's ground-breaking transformation to artists' housing came to be recognized for its state and national significance.

The Westbeth Gallery will be open before the lecture and will feature paintings of the Hudson River and its surrounds by William Kennon.
