Village House Tour Benefit 2011

If you have already purchased tickets or if
you would like to purchase day-of tickets to the house tour, you can do so
from 12:30 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on May 1st at the Greenwich House Music
School, located at 46 Barrow Street.
Day-of Tickets are priced at:
$175 - One Ticket to the Tour Only
$350 - One Ticket to the Tour & Reception
Offering exceptional access into seven of Greenwich Village’s finest and most exclusive homes, GVSHP will host its 13th Annual Village House Tour Benefit on Sunday, May 1. A cocktail reception will be held following the tour at a private townhouse in the neighborhood featuring a stunning roof deck.
This year’s tour highlights include a stately Italianate home with an elaborately-paneled entrance and intricate, original moldings; an artist’s townhouse and studio with an unexpected layout and surprising hidden features, including a backyard treehouse; a 350-square foot apartment with anything but a small sense of style accessed by a splendid shared courtyard; an art collector’s two-floor retreat featuring a life-sized mosaic tile tree; an extra-wide townhouse with Victorian-era details, once the home of Emily Post; and a traditional townhouse featuring a restored stoop and façade and an interior rich with period detail, some salvaged from other Village residences.

HOUSE TOUR: 1:00 - 5:30 P.M. Self-guided; explore at your own pace.
RECEPTION: 5:30 - 7:30 P.M.
SPECIAL NOTE: Tickets for the tour and reception are limited, so reserve a place today to ensure your attendance. If available, tickets purchased on the day of the tour will be priced at a higher level.
Advance sales will close at 11:59 P.M. on April 30.
Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged.
