Join us for a reading of Greenwich Village Stories with musician Lenny Kaye and performance artist Penny Arcade at a most unique Village location.
Lenny Kaye, a musician, songwriter, music producer, critic, and author, has performed and recorded with Patti Smith since 1974. They played the final concert at CBGB the night it closed in 2006.
Performance artist Penny Arcade is also a playwright, director, actor, and a founder of the Lower East Side Biography Project.
The Writers Room provides over 200 writers with a quiet, affordable place in which to work. In addition to workspace, the Room offers a reference and research library for the use of its members; seminars and workshops on subjects of interest to writers; readings of members’ works; and community for people working in a solitary profession.
