Join Your Community Board
A great way to advocate for preserving and perpetuating the qualities you hold dear about your community is to join your local community board. Consisting of fifty members appointed by local Councilmembers and the Borough President, Community Boards play an important role in land use and development decisions, and can affect everything from schools to traffic and parking regulations, the arts and small businesses.
