Annual Spring Benefit House Tour
A Smashing Success!
This past Sunday’s Annual Spring Benefit House Tour was a smashing success. Thank you to the incredibly generous homeowners who opened their houses for the day, our more than 130 volunteers, the businesses who generously donated to or sponsored the tour, the Urban Zen Center for hosting the reception, and everyone who purchased a ticket and participated.
Our Annual House Tour is Village Preservation’s main fundraising event of the year, which helps allow us to offer over a hundred free or low-cost programs a year, to provide innovative and engaging documentation of our neighborhoods’ history, to monitor daily for proposed demolition and new construction plans in our neighborhood, to inform the public about applications for zoning changes and new developments, and to advocate for the preservation of our irreplaceable history and architecture.
As always, even a few raindrops couldn’t detract from the festive spirit of the day. We hope you enjoyed it! |
