New GVSHP Map Tool for Landmarks Applications in Our Neighborhoods
GVSHP is proud to share a new mapping tool we have created for applications for major changes to landmarked properties in our neighborhoods. Since 2009, GVSHP has posted online every application for changes to landmarked properties in our neighborhood that require a public hearing, also known as ‘certificate of appropriateness’ applications. Our first-of-its-kind webpage has provided the public with details about the application, when public hearings will be held, how members of the public can weigh in on the decision-making process in person or in writing, and tracked the application to its conclusion – whether approved, rejected, or modified.

Now, for the first time, GVSHP has mapped each of these 600 applications and will add all new applications to the map. This allows you to check on any current or past application going back to 2009 for major changes to landmarked properties in your area, find out the status, weigh in, and track them to their conclusion.

We hope you’ll find this a useful tool! Please share with friends and neighbors.
