Dear Mr. Sander:
I urge you NOT to eliminate the M8 bus. The route of the M8 is critical to the streets that form the historic heart of Greenwich Village and the East Village. Residents and businesses would be greatly impacted by the elimination of this cross-town route that serves one of the densest commercial and residential areas in the city. The M8 is a vital daily connection for both area commuters and shoppers and must be preserved.
