Brooklyn Joins Fight Against Trump "Condo-Hotel"
Trump Condo-Hotel Fight: GVSHP continues to garner support from communities throughout the five boroughs in opposition to Donald Trump’s 45-story condo-hotel plan for Spring and Varick Streets. GVSHP has been leading this fight not only because Trump’s plan would be so wrong for this location, but because if successful, it would destroy zoning protections for all similar manufacturing zones throughout New York City, including the Far West Village south of Barrow Street, Hudson Square, the Meatpacking District, SoHo, NoHo, Tribeca, Chelsea, Hell’s Kitchen, Williamsburg/Greenpoint, Gowanus, etc. (Click here for map).
