Village Preservation
on Google Arts & Culture

We have recently joined the Google Arts and Culture platform as a way of reaching an even broader audience with information about and images of the unique architectural and cultural history of Greenwich Village, the East Village, and NoHo.  Hundreds of our historic images now appear online in this platform, and we’ve also created several narrated tours including Women’s Rights Tour: Trailblazers and Community Organizers, an LGBTQ+ Tour, a Social Justice TourLatinx History (narrated by John Leguizamo), and Carole Teller’s Changing New York.

This platform provides a unique opportunity for Village Preservation to spread interest in and awareness of the irreplaceable history of our neighborhoods as we fight to protect them. You can check out our landing page, with links to all tour and images, here.
