Dear friend,

The summer issue of The Anthemion, GVSHP’s newsletter, is now available on-line — CLICK HERE to read about our recent efforts and accomplishments, as well as to find out about some exciting 30th anniversary events we have planned for the fall.

A 4-story illegal billboard on St. Mark’s Place in the East Village which GVSHP fought to have removed was recently taken down. Following complaints from GVSHP and many others, violations against the illegal signage had been issued by the city. For help from GVSHP if you see landmarks violations, CLICK HERE; for help regarding illegal billboards, CLICK HERE.

Support GVSHP’s education and preservation work!  Give to our mid-summer appeal, and help us win landmark protections for the South Village, much needed zoning changes in the West and East Villages, and changes to NYU’s massive 20-year expansion plan. CLICK HERE to make a contribution.

Best wishes for the rest of the summer.

Sincerely,

Andrew Berman
Executive Director
