GVSHP was very concerned when the State Legislature approved a measure in late June 2013 allowing the “air rights” from commercial piers within the Hudson River Park to be transferred for use one block inland. This has the potential to significantly increase the size and scope of development along the waterfront in our neighborhoods. GVSHP will continue to press for answers and fight to ensure that inappropriate and oversized development are not allowed along our waterfront.
