Gansevoort Development Community Board Hearing

Proposed Demolitions, Alterations, and 122 ft. Tall New Construction on Gansevoort Street (image above) – The Community Board public hearing on this outsized, out-of-character proposed development in the Gansevoort Market Historic District has been moved from October 19th to 6:30 pm on Thursday, October 15th at the P.S. 3 Auditorium, 490 Hudson Street (at Grove Street). Attendance at this Community Board public hearing is critical, but it will be even more important at the Landmarks Preservation Commission hearing tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, October 27th (time TBD, but it will be during the day at the Commission, One Centre Street).
