March and Rally to Save the M8 Bus
As part of the ongoing effort to save the M8 bus, there will be a march this Saturday starting at 12:30 P.M. and rally starting at 1 P.M. to save this vital and threatend bus line. Marchers will gather at 6th Avenue and 8th Street on the west side and 9th Street and Avenue A on the east side and march to Astor Place for a 1 P.M. rally. The M8 bus, which connects the Village, NoHo, and the East Village, is proposed for elimination under the MTA’s latest budget plan.
