Rudin/St. Vincent’s Hearing March 6 at 9:30 AM
The public hearing that the NYC Council will hold before deciding the fate of the rezoning of the St. Vincent’s East Campus for the Rudin condo development has now been set for next Tuesday, March 6 at 9:30 am at 250 Broadway (at Park Place), in the 16th floor committee room (photo ID needed to enter).
The Council will hold this hearing in its Zoning and Franchises Subcommittee, and in the following days the Council’s Land Use Committee, and then the full City Council. The Council can approve, disapprove, or modify the application.
This application is of tremendous importance – in terms of the impact it would have on the Village, and the precedent set by giving special zoning privileges originally granted to a hospital to a private condominium development.
