St. Luke’s Application Returns to the LPC
The proposal by St. Luke's church and school for adding a 15 story residential tower at the corner of Barrow and Greenwich Street and several additions atop their school buildings along Greenwich Street will return to the Landmarks Preservation Commission for a public meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, March 11th. This application was heard last month, but the commission only had time at the hearing for public comments, and did not respond to the proposed design. At tomorrow's public meeting, at which the public will be allowed to attend but not speak, the commission will weigh in on the proposed design. GVSHP has raised strong concerns about the current proposal -- read our testimony here. Click here for more details on the proposal and tomorrow's public meeting.
