GVSHP strongly opposes this proposal, which would include adding two 80-90 ft. tall concrete and glass towers on a historic, residential street in the Greenwich Village Historic District.

We need a large turnout to tell the Landmarks Preservation Commission that this proposal is unacceptable and should not be approved!

HOW TO HELP:

• Send a letter to the Mayor and the Chair of the Landmarks Preservation Commission urging them not to approve the current proposal for 85-89 Jane Street.
  
  
• On Tuesday, July 12, come to the LPC hearing room, Municipal Bldg., One Centre Street (at Chambers Street), 9th floor. Hearing currently scheduled for 2:45 p.m.; If possible, arrive by 1:45 p.m. (time of hearing is approximate, based upon duration of prior items). Bring photo ID. Sign up to testify. Testimony can be 3 minutes maximum. Written comments can be longer; bring 11 copies.
